I installed the update to 1.8.2.0 the installation wants me to Register. My IT department already had installed the key from the previous version 1.8.0.4. Do I need my IT department to Register the new version and Dart issues me a new Key?

P.S. The installation program did not update my DartObjects.dll from version 1.0.43.0, I cannot find what package this program belongs to - to see if I need to update it. Please advise.

Are you sure something is telling you that you that you have to register? It probably says that Web Enterprise is already registered. In any event if you see Web Enterprise listed as one of the installed products, then no, you don't need to register.

Also, DartObjects is no longer used. It used to be used by DartSock.dll. You can delete it if you want.

During the installations a PowerTCP Registration dialog box appeared with Install, Transfer and Exit buttons.
When I go to Start, Program Files, PowerTCP, Web Enterprise Tool, Registration the same dialog appears.

Where do I go to see if I have Web Enterprise listed and one of the installed products?

Sorry about that, you must have downloaded the update during the first 24 hours after we uploaded it. We have since rebuilt the setup with a less confusing registration program.

The latest shows a list of products on the first page.

Incidently, if you click "Install" or "Transfer" you would get the same list.

The newer version does look simpler; however the Registration program does not add items to the list box.

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you saying the item is not added at all? Or is it just not highlighted?

Could you please tell me the exact steps you are taking?

Start, Program Files, PowerTCP, Web Enterprise Tool, Registration, Power TCP Registration dialog box appears. There is a white box that appears to be a list box under the "The following PowerTCP products are registered on this machine." is empty. I click Install, then I enter - what I think is the Serial# from what I see in my registry under the "License" key - then a number appears in the disabled box next to Key#, which I then enter in - what I think is the Registration number from what appears after the ":" number, but the Add button does not become enabled.

One of the numbers is invalid. If you don't see any items in the listbox, then the number in your registry is not valid.
