posted May 17, 2000 4:07 PM I am using VB enterprise 5 and your telnet tool. My problem is this. I have a registered version of your tool and followed the registration instructions you provided. I am using your library in an activeX control on our local intranet. Whenever a user downloads the control (and therefor your library) they recieve the trial version warning. How can I stop this from happening? |

posted May 17, 2000 4:10 PM See the following Dart Knowledge Base article: http://support.dart.com/KBDetail.dwp4 or type "ActiveX Control always gives trial message" in the search window at the top of this page. |

posted May 18, 2000 3:46 PM Using the instructions from the Knowledge base does not work in VB5. It tells me "Invalid use of New." If I do not include new in the declaration, the control compiles but does not run. Any help? |

posted May 18, 2000 4:11 PM That's because your reference is to the OCA instead of the DLL. I just tried it on VB5 and it works fine. |

posted May 18, 2000 4:44 PM I haven't even added the OCA, just the referance. I am still in my 30 day support period so how about just send me a example of what you are telling me to do. Should it be a "new DartTelnet" or a new "Telnet"? Either way it nags that it is an invalid use of "new". So how about just send an example project that you know works in VB5 Enterprise. |
