There is a VB sample called DBPop that would probably show you the correct way to do this. Try taking a look at that.

If you installed to the default directory, it would be under:

C:\Program Files\PowerTCP\Mail Tool\Samples\VB6\Pop\DBPop

You could also find it in the PowerTCP Program Group under "Mail Tool\VB6 Samples\DBPop"

Hi,
I cant find VB6 samples in that directory. There are C# , C# ASP.NET, VB, VB ASP.NET and I have seen every folder there is no sample which demonstrates about wat I am asking. There is a pop sample but its not saving messages to database or anywhere .???

Then you must have Mail for .NET instead the the Mail Tool. This is the Mail Tool forum so I assumed that's what you had.

Unforunately I don't have an Mail for .NET samples that use a database. You may want to get the Mail Tool, then look at the DB Pop sample and see if it gives you any ideas.

Otherwise I would suggest contacting sales@dart.com to find out what it would take to get a custom sample written.
