I have created a .Net class library using the tcp component in Sockets for .Net. When I instantiate the object in my VB6 object I get an automation error. Is this due to a limitation in your component so that licensed users can wrap the object into an unlicensed dll? I have <ComClass(ClassId, InterfaceId, EventsId)> and have set the option for Register for COM interop. Typelibrary seems ok and I get all information and intellisense in VB6 but automation error upon instantiating the objekt.

Any clues?

If licensing issue, is there anyway you can help me, the dll is to be used by me only and I have license for both .Net and the older for COM.

The reason I want my dll written in .Net is that I use serialisation and .Net timers.
