I have an application that, in the simplest terms, uses the Server Tool to accept incoming connections, services the request, and sends a response. I discovered that the application was accumulating memory as it ran. I assumed it was leak, but after considerable investigation found that it wasn't. Finally, after trying numerous approaches, I took the Server Tool out of the picture and the accumulation stopped. Needless to say, that leads to the conclusion that the Server Tool was the source of the problem. Is there a known issue with the Server Tool that an accumulation occurs under certain, avoidable conditions? I can send you a sample that exhibits the behavior.

Does the sample Echoserver exhibit the behavior?
If so, what do I need to do to see it?

I can't get the Echo Server sample to run on my machine even though I have valid licenses for both the Server Tool and Winsock Tool. I checked the registry and the entries are there, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

What error message do you get?

I get:
"A License for the PowerTCP Server Component was not found on this machine."

I then get another dialog titled "Control Not Licensed for Distribution" that says:
"Get license string from registry entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Dart\PowerTCP\Licenses\<Tool> and use Create method to create the control"

I know that I have a valid license, and I checked the entries in the registry for correctness.

Please send a Dartnostics report from the machine where you are building to support@dart.com and we will handle the rest of the issue via email.
