I am using PowerTCP Mail Tool, I want to configure Gmail account using this tool. I tried by giving

frmSmtp.UseSSL = true;
frmSmtp.chkSSLRequired.Visible = true;
frmSmtp.Username = "xyz";
frmSmtp.Password = "xyz";

This is the information provided on Gmail site

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server – requires SSL: pop.gmail.com
Use SSL: Yes
Port: 995
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server – requires TLS: smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
Use Authentication: Yes
Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL)
Port: 465 or 587
Account Name: your Gmail username (including '@gmail.com')
Email Address: your full Gmail email address (username@gmail.com)

Password: your Gmail password
I gave all the information, I got this error "A request to send receive data was disallowed because the socket is not connected...."

Does any one have any idea how this can be achieved using this tool, I want to achieve this on a web application using ASP.Net/C#. I appreciate your help.

Thank you

The Mail Tool does not support SSL. You would need to use Secure Mail for .NET if you need to do this.

Just so you know, I tried all the stuff you want to do with the Secure Mail for .NET components and it worked fine.
