posted June 13, 2001 8:05 PM We are using the ftp control (in a VB 6 application) to download files from 4 different ftp servers. For just one, the List method times out with error 10060. For the other three, it returns the list of files without error. I tried increasing the timeout to 60 seconds but this didn't help. I also tried the FTP List View sample application but it also can not get a directory list. Finally, I tried sending the LIST command in directly using the Command method, but this also failed. FTP from a command prompt and CuteFTP are both able to get the directory lists. The only thing I can tell about the server is that it returns "UNIX" to the System property and that the connect message says "X2 WS_FTP Server 2.0.2" Thanks for you help. |
