posted October 18, 2004 12:26 AM Hello, I am currently using an ISP on our swmotif.com domain that has CPanel in Linux, but they don't have the SSL support enabled. I need an unlimited number of FTP accounts but would like to use secure file transfer. Any referrals to reliable ISP's for unlimited FTP accounts that suppor SSL? Does CPanel support SSL for FTP transfer, ... is it just that my ISP has SSL features turned off? Any comments much appreciated. Sincerely, James Carlburg http://www.softwaremotif.com/ jcarlburg@softwaremotif.com |

posted October 18, 2004 8:46 AM I have never heard of an ISP that offers Secure FTP access. Usually people buy there own SecureFTP server (like Globalscape or Ipswitch) or they write a custom one using the Secure FTP server control in our ActiveX SSL Tool. Unfortunately I do not know what CPanel is so I can't comment on that. |
