When zipping files, the modification time of the file is one hour behind the original file. For example, the file time is 10:15:22 but in the created zip file, the time is 9:15:22. This started happening after October 4 (we had files process ok then) and before October 6. (We haven't made code changes in this for months.)

Did someone change the Timezone on the machine? Check the Time settings to see if anything looks weird.

No timezone changes, everything appears normal. The current timezone is Mountain Daylight Time. The file gets created, then our app runs and compresses it. Once the app runs, we look into the zip file and the time is one hour off.

Please try to recreate the problem with one of our sample apps. Once you can, let me know the exact steps I need to take to see the problem occur.

VB6 Samples, Zip Manager. Ran out of VB. Click New Button, create archive called test.zip. Clicked Add button, went to file and clicked OK. File in Zip Manager has timestamp of 12:54 pm. The actual time of the file is 1:54 pm Any file you add that was modified on 10/4/2004 or earlier is correct, any file modified 10/5/2004 or later is an hour off.

I have emailed Dave Harry (sales@dart.com) many times with no response. Is there any other way to check on the status of this bug?

Could you please try again? I see no record of email from you since February. You may be on a Spam blacklist. If you send it, let me know and I will check the logs.

Ok, I added you to our safe list and sent the message to Dave. Just so you know, your mail server has an incorrect reverse DNS entry. You really should get you postmaster to address this issue. More and more people are blocking mail from servers that don't have the correct reverse DNS entries.
