Hi,
My boss bought PowerTCP Ftp ActiveX in the past, and now we are trying to use it in a .NET app.
For the moment he don't want to buy the Power TCP Ftp .Net, so I'm playing with the Samples for the ActiveX version.

The PutUrl Sample is giving me this error:

Starting new Transfer ...
220 ********* Microsoft FTP Service (Version 5.0).
331 Password required for *****.
230 User ***** logged in.
250 CWD command successful.
200 Type set to I.
227 Entering Passive Mode (209,250,129,194,18,45).
The connection has been dropped because of a network failure or because the peer system failed to respond. Also caused when Connect, Send, Receive, Fill or Close methods are used with a Timeout parameter and the operation fails to complete within the specified number of milliseconds.

I'm behind a firewall (so I'm using PASV) and the aapp has been allowed to on it (Sygate Personal Firewall).

Any possible solutions?

Thanks,
Diego.

Try non-Passive mode and see what happens. If that doesn't work, you'll need to contact someone from Sygate to see if they have any advice.
