posted August 7, 2004 1:43 PM Hi! Working in VB6 SP5 on Win2K SP2 with Mail Tool. Control works fine until the user enters an invalid e-mail address. Then, Quicksend naturally fails. Problem is, when the user enters a valid e-mail address again, they get: The socket is already connected. (12014) They have to restart the app (not the computer) to get rid of the error. Any suggestions? I searched the forum but didn't find any solutions for this. Thanks! |

posted August 9, 2004 8:53 AM Call "Abort" whenever you get an error (like we do in the sample app). That way, you assure that the connection is closed. |
