Hi!

Working in VB6 SP5 on Win2K SP2 with Mail Tool.

Control works fine until the user enters an invalid e-mail address. Then, Quicksend naturally fails. Problem is, when the user enters a valid e-mail address again, they get:

The socket is already connected. (12014)

They have to restart the app (not the computer) to get rid of the error. Any suggestions?

I searched the forum but didn't find any solutions for this.

Thanks!

Call "Abort" whenever you get an error (like we do in the sample app). That way, you assure that the connection is closed.
