I have an email in html format in an exchange mailbox. I use an Imap object to retrieve the messages, and use ImapMessage.Message to get the MessageStream. However, the Text property of this MessageStream has the html tags stripped out and is providing the message in a non-html format.

The Parts.Complex collection has 0 items in it. The Parts.Simple collection has exactly 1 item in it and it is "text/plain". There are no other parts in the message. This would imply that there is no html version of the message available.

However, I know the message is in html format. I can open the message using outlook or the exchange web viewer and see the message in html format. I can do a view source and view the html tags. It is only when I use your component to access the message contents that there appears to be no html.

Can you explain how I can access the html?

Thank you

Hi Robert,
Please zip up the raw message and send it to support@dart.com, referencing this post.

I would guess that this problem has been addressed for our next release.
If not, I will submit a report to development concerning the issue.

Thanks,
-ken

I am having this exact problem right now, and since your thread is 5 years old, i'm hoping there's a dandy solution... is there?

thanks,

Hi Evan,
If you continue to see the problem with the latest version of the product, please send in an example message (as a zipped attachment) to support@dart.com.
Thanks,
-ken
