Similar to the post "License.licx issues ......." we have a service that schedules various tasks to include downloading of files. This functionality is added to the service by dropping in dlls implimenting a certain interface into a directory and via reflection the service loads the interface and runs the dll.

When I make a regular app I have no problems at all, but when the assembly is loaded during runtime we get the license missing error.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Rob

You won't be able to do that. The license is compiled into the application not a DLL. Unfortunately I cannot think of a way to avoid the problem you are having.

Tony,
Would it work if we simlpy added a reference in our service, so the license would get compiled into it. then linked assemblies would use the same lic. ?

It might. It's worth a try a least.
