posted May 18, 2004 4:25 PM Similar to the post "License.licx issues ......." we have a service that schedules various tasks to include downloading of files. This functionality is added to the service by dropping in dlls implimenting a certain interface into a directory and via reflection the service loads the interface and runs the dll. When I make a regular app I have no problems at all, but when the assembly is loaded during runtime we get the license missing error. Any ideas? Thanks, Rob |

posted May 18, 2004 4:31 PM You won't be able to do that. The license is compiled into the application not a DLL. Unfortunately I cannot think of a way to avoid the problem you are having. |

posted May 18, 2004 4:57 PM Tony, Would it work if we simlpy added a reference in our service, so the license would get compiled into it. then linked assemblies would use the same lic. ? -Rob |

posted May 18, 2004 5:01 PM It might. It's worth a try a least. |
