I have a customer who is using my Mail tool powered application to send smtp mail to various recipients. They use Exchange Server. The mail that they send to their fellow employees is successful, but mail that is sent to an email address other than one of their employees never makes it. No errors are returned to my application and they say they don't see anything on the Exchange Server.

My customer has no problem sending email to external email addresses from their Outlook on the same machine.

What could be the problem? Thanks in advance.

He probably uses a different email server in the Outlook account. He needs to find out what the server is and then use that in your app when he wants to send outside mail.

I am also having this problem. I can send messages internally no problem, but nothing is going out. We have exchange/outlook2000 as our only email setup. If I send an email with multiple address, some internal some external, only the internal ones are delivered. Very strange. Any other advice besides what has already been suggested. Thanks in advance.
