posted April 9, 2004 1:21 PM I've tried setting the vt1.TELNET control to all the available emulation modes, but when I connect to the host (works fine) and then try to launch the vi editor, I am unable to see anything on the screen - although all commands do work, i.e., >~$ vi newfile Displays: newfile: new file: line 1 i Diplays a blank screen A new Line<enter> Displays a blank screen <esc>:wq Display a blank screen and then returns to the prompt - the file was created but it is impossible to edit since you can't see anything. What shold I be looking for? |

posted April 9, 2004 1:35 PM It works OK for me on the Linux systems I use that have vi. Can you point us to a system we can connect to to test this? If so, please send the connection info to support@dart.com |
