posted March 24, 2004 5:00 AM Hello! My aplication coded in PowerBuilder 6.5 does not passe throw the proxy CensorNet. I don't receive the response from my distant server that I'm waiting for. The same request works with Internet Explorer (using User identification and password imposed by the proxy). Does WebTool work whith CensorNet? How to define the properties of http object if the proxy imposes the user identification/password ? Another question: can i define, in the application PowerBuilder 6.5, a WebTool object using the command CREATE ? Thank a lot, Mirjana Mardesic |

posted March 24, 2004 9:26 AM We don't have CensorNet here, so I can't test it. The Web tool has properties for Proxy, ProxyPassword and ProxyUsername. Have you tried setting those? |

posted April 5, 2004 8:36 AM I have (I think so) the latest version of WebToot and FtpTool, but the file .hlp is the same that I had before: and there I don't find (in the help file) the properties ProxyPassword and ProxyUserName. But, it is more important that I tried to apply theese properties and it works ! ! ! ! BUT : one more problem: my application is installed on 800 places all arround the country and I can't install the new version immediately. Is there possible to have a temporary solution: for exemple: define and save the username and password as the options of Internet Explorer ; the proxy CensorNet could take theese informations indirectly, without examing ProxyUsername and ProxyPassword? (ok, ok ,I know, this is more a question for CensorNer forum ...) Thanks, anyway, Mirjana |
