posted March 21, 2004 12:37 AM Can You pls tell me what are the permissions I need, as I could do the same visa ftp://Browser and I don't have a problem Uploading or Downloading from ftp:// it is only when I am trying to use the sample application I am getting the following error... I am really confused, like I don't know whether you need special permissions when working on VB based applications... pls help me. |

posted March 21, 2004 9:06 AM If you can do it with IE but not with our sample, then it is probably not a permissions problem. I can't tell from your description what the problem is though. posted March 23, 2004 12:37 AM I am getting the following Error while trying thru Listview sample: Power TCP FTP Client ******************** The requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it does not have the correct associated data being resolved for. The usual example for this is a hostname -> address translation attempt (using gethostbyname() or WSAAsyncGetHostName()) which uses the DNS (Domain Name Server), and an MX record is returned but no A record - indicating the host itself exists, but is not directly reachable. |
