posted February 18, 2004 2:56 AM more and more clients get this miscellaneous Error while http-posting data. this problem is located in the local machine and/or combination with OS (Win ..) only. Our clients for example are able to post from some workstation in the lan but from some other workstation this error responses while posting! At the moment we are not able to offer our product using Dart-Web control (active-X) as we do not know, if the component will work or not! We do not want to change to other product, therefore please solve this serious problem!!! thank you! |

posted February 18, 2004 8:53 AM The error is coming from WININET.DLL which we use to do our communications. If you can find a way to tell me how to duplicate this error om my machine I may be able to find a solution. If that's not possible, try searching this forum for 12002, there are several topics dealing with this error, although I can't tell whether the customers ever resolved it. If you still are having trouble, try searching groups.google.com for "12002 + WININET". I got 99 hits when I did. If after all that, you are still unable to resolve the issue, you may want to consider switching over to the WebASP control (part of the Web Enterprise Tool) as we designed that control to get around the dependence on WININET. |
