posted February 12, 2004 9:18 PM Hello Tony, Thank you for your reply for my post. When i tried to run the application using ftp tool i got an error msg stating that the port 21 is already in use., but after changing the port number the application is running without generating any erros but the FTP Server is not started. Did any of your team tested the tool on win2003 ? does this tool supports 2003 ? if not do we have any patches(or additional components) to be installed ? plz suggest the solution. Thanks Anchoori sridhar. |

posted February 12, 2004 10:58 PM Yes. We have had server 2003 for over a year now and have not had any problems with FTP. It sounds like you already have IIS running an FTP server on that machine. Are you sure you have the FTP tool? It sounds to me like you have the Server tool and are using the FtpServer control. Have you tried the sample yet? It works for me. |
