posted February 1, 2004 7:09 AM Hello. My program automatically downloads content from websites, but there are certain websites I'm encountering that will not serve up images unless the requests are coming from the specific page that holds the thumbnails. Can Web Tools help me simulate a link clicked from those specific pages the server is looking for? |

posted February 2, 2004 10:37 AM It sounds like you need to add a "Referer: " line to your header. You can do this easily using the Web control or the WebASP control. |

posted February 2, 2004 4:40 PM Man, that is awesome. This is maybe the fifth or sixth forum I've asked about this, but you're the first person who was able to answer it for me! Looking at your avatar, you're pretty smart for your age. ;) Thanks! |
