I'm trying to do a reverse lookup on an address in dot notation and get the DNS name for the host. Works fine if I provide the DNS object with a .SERVER=mynameserver, but this is for an app going onto many diverse computers. How can I just use the default name server defined for any particular workstation? I'm sure this is obvious, I just missed something somewhere.

Thanks...

It's not obvious and I have not found a simple way yet. If you find a simple way, please share!

The only way I found was to look in the registry, but the key would be different on each computer. It looks like you have to find out the current control set, then look under that for the default DNS server.
