We need to transfer files from a Unix machine to a Windows machine and vice versa via SSL. We are trying to find some literature which explains these details of configuring SSL on both these platforms. Or is ssl configuration really required on both the machines or not? Unix is the server and the application we are writing will reside on a win2k machine. If someone can put some light on this, or point us to some literature, it would be very helpful. Thankz in advance.

You would have to find an SSL (not SSH) FTP server to run on your UNIX platform. I don't know of any, but you should be able to search the web and find one.
