posted January 5, 2004 1:44 PM Two questions. When my INBOX contains forwarded mail it looks something like this in the Mail sample app. Part Content: ~~Some plain text from email forwarded~~ >From:"Thiibault, Ted... >To: tatcz@netzero... >Subject: Mars Landing.. This is a text/plain messagepart. Is there a way to extract the >From:, >To:, etc. information without haveing to write a parser? I'm trying to send a response to the original sender. Question 2 There doesn't seem to be any way to use an Outlook Global Address Book. Seems that the To: portion must be comma seperated individual address. I'm currently populating this from a data base. Does your tool have a more efficient way? Read a post in the forum that mentions a third party utility. So I gathered that none of the mailtool protocalls can use the outlook address books. Thanks. |

Different mail programs are going to display that differently. Also the user may delete that prior to forwarding. Answer 2: We do not interact with any addressbooks. That's something that would be up to you. |
