posted December 15, 2003 7:53 PM Users of a application I wrote that uses the Dart telnet control are asking for a more secure way of sending and receiving data, such as SSH with passwords and the like encrypted. Can the Dart telnet control be used for SSH with Visual Basic 6, or is there another Dart control for that purpose, or is it just not possible with the Dart control set? |

posted December 15, 2003 10:35 PM None of our Telnet controls directly support SSH, however you could use the Tcp control from the SSLTool (ActiveX) or SSL Sockets for .NET (.NET Components) to do communicate if the server supports SSL and there is not a lot of telnet option negotiation required. |
