posted September 11, 2001 6:29 PM Just wanted to know if your using the WinINET DLL to make this puppy go. I'm transmitting XML with a text value that must maintain a specific format when it's received on the "other side". When I use the WinINET DLL itself it works however, when I use the MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP object it dose not work. I know the MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP also uses WinINET but for some reason it still dose not work. I know some one who has successfully used your tool to transmit this particular XML document. So after all of this I just want to know if your using the WinINET DLL. If not, what are you using. |

posted September 12, 2001 11:26 AM Hi, The Web control (included in Web Tool and Web Enterprise Tool) uses Wininet. The WebAsp control (Web Enterprise Tool), however, does not rely on Wininet, but uses our own proprietary methods (which ultimately use the Windows Sockets library). -ken K M Drake Dart Tech Support |
