Is it possible to set client cert. from ASP.NET application?

For example, if StockQuote server needs client cert, is there a way to set the client certificate from ASP.NET application?

You could do it, but you would have to adjust the permissions on the ASP user so that they have access to the LocalMachine cert store.

What about writing a serviced component?
Any sample on this topic (ASP.NET TCP Socket with Client Cert.) will be appreciated.

That would work if you started the service with a user who has the right permissions.

What about reading cert. from the file directly? Can you please provide a sample code?

Sorry, but I don't think there is a way to do that.
