posted October 21, 2003 12:34 PM I am using the DNS Control in a log analyzer type app. I am using Timeout = 0 and responding to the lookup via the event. Am I able to submit another DNS Query before a previous query has completed? I am doing this but it appears that the ID property in the event refers to the last ID. |

posted October 21, 2003 1:44 PM It look to me like it should work like you want. The way I see it when the event fires, Dns1.Id and the results should apply to request it is firing for. Unfortunately that does not appear to be the case. I have reported this as issue #2067 and it should be addressed in the next release of the Winsock tool ( I don't know when that will be, call in to our sales dept or email sales@dart.com to find out ) In the meantime, you can do what you want by using more than one control. |
