I've recived these message when I am running web client in vb6

Connecting
The requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it does not have the correct associated data being resolved for. The usual example for this is a hostname -> address translation attempt (using gethostbyname() or WSAAsyncGetHostByName()) which uses the DNS (Domain Name Server), and an MX record is returned but no A record - indicating the host itself exists, but is not directly reachable.Closed

What does it mean? I thought I could see the html page.

We've developed a client http in javascript with xmlhttp that connect to a webservice. We need to add ssl to our client. I only want to add the ssl with your component without rewriting our client, I mean I need only enter to secure mode and continuing using xmlhttp component. Is it possible?

thanks

That's not possible. While the Web control is capable of getting secure requests. It in no way adds security to other components.

And the error you were getting means that we could not determine the IP address to connect to.
