posted October 1, 2003 2:51 PM I've placed an VT Control on an MDI Child Form in VB 6. When the size of the form changes the vt control is flickering color is changing and the Scrollbars ar flickering muliple times. On an normal PC there seems to be the same behaviour but there ist very fast 1/10 sec on the Terminalserverclient it takes about 3 sec!!! Regards Andreas |

posted October 2, 2003 10:20 AM Ok, I got your files and can confirm the difference in load time, but it's not 3 seconds. On a 1gig machine (low end by today's standards) it took about 1/2 sec at most. I'm not sure how much we can do to speed that up, but if it's crucial to you, please contact our sales department to find out what can be done to accommodate you. For your reference this has logged as issue #2022 in our support database. |

posted October 2, 2003 11:15 AM It's critical for me. We are Using ThinStar Terminals TS-166. And it Tackes truly max 3 sec. min 1.5 sec. The Problem I think is that while Resizing is done it's not neccesary to show the scroll bars. The flickering of the Scrollbars is the Problem which slows down the Terminal. A Option "do not show Scrollbars in any case" will work around the Problem I think. Regard, Andreas |
