posted September 6, 2003 7:35 AM Dear Sir/Madam, PowerTCP always use "APPE" command when I try to resume file upload. I don't find a way to enforce PowerTCP use commands "REST size" and "STOR name". When I try to send this command directly to FTP protocol, I don't take control by data stream... Could you mind to help me? Thanks in advance! regards, Raymond NG |

posted September 8, 2003 8:38 AM We send APPE because that's what all the other ftp clients we looked at did. Another reason is that it allows you to resume uploads even on servers that don't support REST. There is no way for you to modify this behavior. |
