posted September 5, 2003 5:34 PM What is the max length a piece of data can be to be POSTED to a web server. the xmlhttp object appears to be about 1500 bytes. i am looking for an alternative to xmlhttp which support posting large xml documents. |

posted September 5, 2003 9:08 PM There's no limit at our end. If the server allows it, you can post as much as you want. Some servers limit this to avoid potential Denial of Service attacks. |
