Hi,

I'm using various DART tools (Telnet, SNMP, Winsock) and I'm trying to make use of DartRas in a C++ to VB.NET port.

The project uses RasGetProjectionInfo to get the remote server's IP address. The DartRas objects don't give me this information. Is there any way (a slim chance I know) of getting the report server's IP from DartRAS or perhaps the RAS connection handle from DartRas so I can call the RasGetProjectionInfo API myself??

If not then add this to the 'things users have asked for' list.

Thanks,

Simon Greener

Hi Simon,
There is a Ras.Handle property.
Are you able to use this to make the RasGetProjectionInfo call?
Thanks,

Hi Ken,

Yes that will do very nicely. I should have seen it when I looked for it (knowing it would be called hRas or Handle or some such thing). That's a pretty embaressing mistake.

'Anyone can make a mistake', said the Darlek climbing down off the dustbin. You do/did get Doctor Who in the US, yes?

Many thanks for putting my nose on the right answer!
