posted February 13, 2003 11:03 AM I use pttcp32.ocx stamped with the license manager (the latest version). I use the NT automatic logon, and my application starts automatically. Some times, just at startup, I have a windows message “Royalty-free distribution license is missing”, but the ocx I use is stamped, and after this : the application runs correctly. If I don’t use the automatic logon and the automatic application start, I never see the error message. It seems that my application starts some times before the license manager (!). I use NT 4 Workstation SP6, my application is a VB5 application. How can I fix this problem? |

posted February 13, 2003 11:50 AM This may be related to something we fixed already but have not incorporated into the release. Please download the following zip file: http://support.dart.com/downloads/4164-ocx.zip and extract the pttcp32.ocx contained inside. Stamp it with your license and use that on the target machine. Please let me know if it fixed the problem. |

posted February 13, 2003 1:00 PM I've tried this 4.1.64 version : it does not fix the problem. The first restart was OK, but at the second restart I had the same error window. |

posted February 14, 2003 10:21 AM Please try the same thing in Windows 2000 and WindowsXP. If you are able to duplicate in those environments, please include a description of the minimum steps that I need to take to duplicate it here. |

posted February 18, 2003 11:16 AM With Windows XP there is no problem, but I really need to use PowerTcp with Windows NT : I use a board that only runs on NT. What solution do you have for NT ? |

posted February 18, 2003 11:38 AM I'm sorry, but if there is no problem with the other environments I don't have any solution, since MS dropped support of NT after SP6. You could try rewriting what you are doing using our WinsockTool, which does not use the same license manager. |
