posted January 23, 2003 12:49 PM I am trying to download a file using wildcards from a directory that has 440,000+ files in it. Everytime I use ftp.GET(...) it times out, like it is trying to download the full directory listing first. I want to get a file (ie 012345*Q*.XLS) from the site. I can use command line FTP in WinXP without a problem. I can also download files from other directories on the site without a problem. Is there a way to supress the directory listing functionality to overcome this issue? Thanks! |

posted January 27, 2003 10:55 AM Hi, I am unable to retrive files from the Ftp servers I have tried using wildcards in this manner (the servers just say the file does not exist). What does the Trace Event show is happening between the client and server immediately prior to the timeout? Thanks, -ken |
