posted January 6, 2003 7:36 PM I am monkeying with Visual Studio .NET 2003 and cannot get the FTP tool to install. This is on a fresh reinstall of my OS, so I didnt install VS.NET 2002 first. Any way around this or do I have to wait until the installer is updated? I have the same problem with the mail tool for .NET Eric |

posted January 7, 2003 7:51 AM I couldnt find a dll updater for the .NET stuff, so I had to redownload the installer and give my info again. is the the correct way to get a .NET update? |

posted January 7, 2003 8:50 AM Yes. You have to uninstall the previous version and then reinstall the new one. That's the way all of our .NET installs work. |
