Topic: Problem with certificates and the WebServer tool

I have installed your WebServer Tool trial and it works great, but, unfortunately I am not able to use https/ssl. I got several trial certificates and the CA trial certificate from Thawte: the certificates are correctly displayed in the Certificate Manager and I am able to select them, but when I try to start the server I receive the error "The certificate property was not set to a valid certificate". The certificates are correctly marked for "Server Authentication" and are valid.

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

What operating system are you using?
Is it the US version?

Thanks,

Thank you very much for your quick and kind reply, Mr. Priest.

No, it is the Italian version of Windows 2000. Do you suspect problems with my local settings (date/time etc.)?

Many thanks,

Do you have a US version you could test on? I'm not positive that the SSL is compatible with anything else.

Thanks,

Tony

I have, thank you. I will try to install the control on the US version.
