posted October 2, 2002 12:53 PM Hello, guys, I really love these tools! Thanks for being there. However.... We're using multiple modems to connect to another private network. Under standard NT routing, even if we have two routes to a mailserver on the private network, the IMAP and SMTP traffic is just going over one of the routes (modems). I know that, in C, we can bind a socket to a local route. Can we do this, in this instance? For example, make one IMAP connection over Route A, and another IMAP connection over Route B? posted October 2, 2002 5:01 PM Hi Rory, Unfortunately, you are unable to choose the local address to use with our ActiveX Mail components. However, this is possible with the .NET Smtp component, and will also be possible with the not-yet-released .NET Imap component. -ken |
