posted August 29, 2002 4:01 PM Hi, This Question is directly to Dart Technical/Customer Support. Is there any plan to release PowerTCP SNMP for Version 3.0. This has an advanced trap handling mechanism with security. We are still using the version 2C, which is not very much security oriented, but it serves the basic functionality. It will be very useful if we shift to these version, which was released a year ago, i guess. Thank you mscore. |

At the moment the industry has not shifted in that direction so we would need a greater demand for SNMPv3 support. If this is something that you require, we do offer the opportunity for custom development to meet your specifications.
