I have a small VB executable which uses the Dart HTTP control to post a string to a server and recieve a response - However when the program is executing, and communicating with the server, the process is totally hogging the system resources. It slows down everything else on the box. What can I do to keep it from being such a hog?

I am unable to duplicate this behavior.

Try installing the updated DLLs:

http://www.dart.com/downloads/update.exe

and see if the problem goes away.

If the problem does not go away, please tell me the exact steps I must take with one of our sample apps to see the problem.
