posted August 13, 2002 10:51 AM Hi, I just downloaded SecureFTP for .net and am testing the demo program for vb.net. I am able to log in but when the program is trying to do a secureftp.list() command it gives out this error: "There was an error creating credentials " error number = 12020. Is there an limitations in the evaluation version ? How do I test the basic functionality of sending, receiving files, changing directory etc in a SSL mode ? thanks RAJ |

posted August 13, 2002 2:58 PM Hi RAJ, This forum is for our Ftp for .NET product. In the future, please post under the PowerTCP SSL Tool forum. The error means there was a problem with your certificate. Since you are able to login, I am assuming you were doing a non-Passive list, and the problem occurred when the server asked for the client's certificate. Is this correct? When the certificate was obtained, what did you use to generate the certificate request, and what CA issued the certificate? What type of OS was the request generated on? Thanks, -ken |
