We have a multithreaded service acting as am ftp router written in msvc++. When concurrency reaches about 5 simultaneous sessions with one server the connections are being dropped (over a lan on the same subnet). We have installed 3 different vendor Ftp servers and continue to see the same problem.
Envioriment : 1.7 Ghz , 512MB ram, latest update.exe(as of today) Windows 2000 server. The tool is being used in blocking mode as 1 thread per session, 1 object instatiation per session (log on etc..).Any help please we need to be able to support 53 connections (usually to different servers but can be scheduled to one).
