I have registered the DART FTP .NET components for use with COM Interop using regasm. However, when I try to access the components in VB 6 there seems to be no methods available to call.
Note, the component is created OK.
I think this maybe because the DART .NET components do not declare an interface for use with COM. You either need to define an explicit interface or use the .NET ClassInterface attribute.
Is this the case?
If so does this mean that the DART .NET components cannot be called using COM Interop?

Thanks for the help,
Charles Gamble.

Hi Charles,
We have had similar results using regasm.
I have reported this to the product manager, and we will do some investigation into the issue.

Hi. Can you please provide some more details? Where exactly can I find more info on this "NET ClassInterface attribute". Also, please provide a reference to some documentation where I can learn how to "define an explicit interface"

Never mind the above request. I found something to get me started.

Hello Charles,
We are currently looking at the issues involved, including how the Microsoft .NET licensing implementation is supported in interop from .NET. Thanks for your feedback.
