posted July 19, 2002 4:39 PM We are in the midst of converting a Delphi 5 application from a set of Delphi HTTP classes to using your component. When we send a URL from a web browser to the new Delphi application it works fine. If we send the same URL from our Java application we get the following error: "An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine, possibly due to a data transmission timeout or protocol error. PowerTCP will close the connection when this error is encountered." The strange thing is this same URL worked fine when we sent it from the java applicaiton to the old Delphi program using the other set of HTTP classes. We are using Delphi 5 and Java 1.3x. Do you have any thoughts on how we can narrow down the potential cause of this problem? Thanks Steff McGonagle |

posted July 20, 2002 11:44 AM Hi Steff, Could you post a few lines of relevant code from your Java application to this thread so I can try to reproduce that problem? I would need to know exactly how you are attempting to do the communication from within your Java app. Thanks. |
