posted July 13, 2002 4:59 PM If I compile or make an exe on my liscenced machine, and distribute it all over, does whoever have it need to get the app liscenced ? For example, i make a ftp client based on the ftp example, make the exe, and give it to several ppl, will they need to buy it also, or will it timeout, etc ? |

posted July 15, 2002 9:29 AM Hi, No. If you are using the Ftp Tool (not the Ftp component from the PowerTcp Professional Edition), and creating an exe, the development license will be compiled into the exe, and should not be distributed to end-users. -ken |
