I get a "#12002 Miscellaneous Error" when I try to use the control when a user is not logged in. I have tried this in win2k with vb 6; the web control is not part of a form. I tried changing the owner of the service.
Tony Priest From: Utica, NY USA Posts: 8466 Member Since: 04/11/00	posted May 24, 2002 8:37 PM If changing the login of the service did not help, then it may be a limitation of WININET.DLL when running as a service. Try using the WebASP control instead and see if you have the same problem. If you have the WebEnterprise tool now then you already have it. Hope this helps!

There is a bad link for the update somewhere, it gave me the update for 10/25/00. I had to hunt down the latest and greatest one.
