I am trying to use Web Tool to do a post to the Archive login form on www.guideposts.org. What they seem to be doing is once you do the post, the page redirects to an SSL address (starting with https://). When I retrieve the page and find the Location header, I attempt to resubmit the post to the https address that is given, and I get an error:

12038 SSL certificate common name (host name field) is incorrect-for example, if you entered www.server.com and the common name on the certificate says www.different.com.

Since I am submitting the page using the address that was given to me in the Location header, what could I be doing wrong?

Hi,
Does setting the Security Property so that the certificate name is ignored help?
Thanks,

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. When I relax the security, and I submit to the secure address, I keep getting redirected back to /archive/archive.asp. I wonder how I can submit this form and get out of the redirection circle.

Hi,
You should figure out what exactly the server expects from the client (for example, with a protocol sniffer watching IE, or by asking the server Admins), and then do this with our control.
If you are still in need of help after doing this, please consider one of our support options. You can contact us at support@dart.com
Thanks,

Can you recommend a protocol sniffer that would work well for troubleshooting issues like these?

Hi Phil,
Our product manager recommends:
TracePlus32/Web Detective
for monitoring IE.
You can also try the procedure outlined by Tony using our WebServer Tool:
