Will your mail tool provide all SMTP functionality without having the MS SMTP service running? We are trying to avoid having to install IIS on the machine that we want to email from.

Thanks.

Hi Tom,
Yes. The IIS service is unrelated to the functioning of the Tool.

Ok, so there are NO prerequisites such as MS SMTP service, right?

Hi,
The Smtp service is not a prerequisite. There are dependencies, which are outlined on the Distribution page of the help file.
So that I am clear, the Mail Tool is a client-side product. You are looking to create an email client and not a server, correct?
Thanks,

Yes, email client.
Is there any chance you could email me the dependencies from the distribution page of the help file before we make a decision?

Thanks for all your help

Thanks. Just what I needed to see.
I'll propose this as the solution.
No reply necessary.
I appreciate the help.
