posted April 4, 2002 7:19 PM I get no error when I use the Dart FTP delete method, but when I go back to the ftp server I find all the file attributes have been wiped out. This renders the files themselves inaccessible. Here's what a file listing looks like: ---------- 1 owner group 259 Apr 4 0:44 210676.997 ---------- 1 owner group 253 Apr 4 0:51 210677.997 ---------- 1 owner group 253 Apr 4 0:58 210678.997 ---------- 1 owner group 253 Apr 4 1:05 210679.997 The server in this case is Windows NT 4.0. Any ideas or suggestions? |

posted April 4, 2002 7:35 PM This is probable related to a well know bug in IIS 4 that causes files to be locked after the FTP size command is issued. See the following KB article for info: http://support.microsoft.com/directory/article.asp?ID=KB;EN-US;Q182006& Hope this helps! Tony Priest Dart Tech Support |
