| N/A | posted March 28, 2002 11:59 AM If an incoming mail message has multiple attachments, is it possible to select which attachments you wish to download? When I read a message with imap1.AttachmentDirectory= "", none are downloaded. When i have a valid path in imap1.AttachmentDirectory, all the attachments are downloaded. |

posted March 28, 2002 1:16 PM Hi, Actually they are downloaded in both cases, it's just that with the Proeprty set to "", the data for the attachments are not extracted from the Message object and saved as files. Though we do not have a specific method for doing this, Imap allows it, so you can use the Command method to send a Fetch for the part of the message you require, and the Reply will contain the data for the attachment. See the following post for a similar example: http://support.dart.com/forum.dwp?view=4716#FID4716 In your case, you would (obviously) look for attachment parts, not text parts. Hope this helps, -ken K M Drake Dart Tech Support |
