posted March 1, 2002 8:34 AM I'm not a programmer and I thought I was purchasing a COM object I could just insert into my web page with the cab files ready to go. I have no idea how to package what I need into a cab file that will install in the client's browser and if I don't have this today - it will be very bad for my job. Please help! |

posted March 1, 2002 10:41 AM Hi, You should first wrap our control in your own control, and insert your control onto the web page. The reason for this is our controls are not marked safe for scripting. You can then use Visual Studio's Packaging and Deployment Wizard for the creation of the CAB file. Make sure to include the needed Dart dlls, as outlined in the Distribution page of the help file. After that, you will need to create an LPK file for your control, otherwise it will show a trial nag. There is more info about that here: http://support.dart.com/KBDetail.dwp1 -ken K M Drake Dart Tech Support |
